HOW THE JOURNEY STARTED

Every since a kid, I had an obsession with entertainment. I've never simply, watched TV. I'm always envisioning myself as the characters on my favorite shows, constantly imagining being the director of a best-seller Blockbuster movie, while uplifting the ones who look up to me. Educating them on the power of hard work and dedication.
The start of my journey took place in my home town, St. Louis, Missouri...
I was a sophomore in high school. I rememeber walking into Acting I, nervous, wanting to be the best performer I was destined to ensue. But for some reason, I could not shake the stage fright. Everyday, I'd repeat to myself, "I don't want to look stupid." Until one day, my acting teacher, Ms. Carolyn Kovar, struts over to me and whispers, "you look more stupid trying not to look stupid." I, very confused, looked at, my now favorite teacher, and with the grace of God said, "thank you." Since then, I have vowed to be unapologetically myself, never allowing the opinion and judgement of others to mold me.
Today, I continues my journey of being an over all entertainer, because it is something I love to do. Over the years, I've written my own One-Act play, which won second place in the Thespian Troupe 814 Awards, I host my own radio show, Keeping' The Beat: With TMO and Sweetlatrice, and make weekly appearances on the popular college talk show, FlipSide.
